If the router connects and you have an aqua light, great – you don’t need to do anything and the router should work fine
If the router does not establish a connection and you do not have a solid aqua light, you will need to change a setting in the router. Please follow the steps below;
- Connect a device that has a web browser to the router using either wireless or wired
- If using wireless, use the SSID and password information located on the back of the router.
- Once connected to the router, open a browser and enter 192.168.1.254 into the address bar
- Select “Advanced Settings” from the Home page
- Enter the Admin password located on the back of the router (you may be asked to change this password once accepted)
- Once logged in, select “broadband”
- On this page you will see “Broadband Username” and “Password” boxes
- For the “Broadband Username”, this should be a series of letters and numbers and it should end @fs
- The “password” should be deleted so it is blank
- Once you have changed these, click on connect.
- Your router should now connect to the internet and have an aqua light.
